The Rev Or. P. Hunt, of Leeston,* whose annual holiday has bene postponed, will leave in about a fortnight.
Mr S. R. Wright, engineer to the Ellesmere County Council, and Mrs Wright, who motored up to Nelson during the holidays, arrived back in Lees? \ ton on Wednesday. ' ■■ ■" ■ &*■] Mr L. C. Vieary, engineer to the Springs-Ellesmere Electric Power Board, who spent the Christmas and New Year holidays with his daughter, who resides on the West Coast, returned to Leeston on Wednesday evening. The JRev W. G. Hannah, minister/ of the Southbridge-Dunsandel Presbyterian charge, and Mrs Hannah, left by. . to-day's express for Otago, where they will spend a month's holiday. They will remain in North Otago until Monday, leaving there for. Dunedin. During Mr Hannah's absence two students, Messrs E* Bule and F. Comber, will conduct the church services in his parish. .
