1 Should a wife open her husband "s letters? This age-old problem has cropped up once again in England. In this case the letter happened to be from a woman friend of the husband's, and, '• of course, the fat was in the fire. The man's wife taxed him about the I contents of the letter, and complained
to the magistrate that when she refused to hand the letter to him he smacked her face. The husband declared that he chastised his wife because .^5 called his girl friend names. It* air ended in a separation order.
