LEESTON PICTURES
NEXT SATURDAY'S DRAMA
"EVERYBODY'S ACTING"
In "Everybody's Acting," the picture drama to be screened at Leeston Town Hall next Saturday, Betty Bronson takes the part of the little girl who is left a helpless orphan when her father murders her mother and is hanged for the crime. Her mother has been leading lady for the National Players, a travelling company, and four male members of the company, together with a newspaper reporter decide to adopt the infant orphan. That is how Betty, at the age of eighteen months comes into possession of five foster-fathers. How they pilot her over the shoals and storms of love and romance is delightfully told^in this human drama of the theatre and the people who play for our amusement. Lawrence Gray is the leading man and others in the cast include Ford Sterling, Louise Dresser, Henry Walthall and Stuart Holmes.
Readers will be glad to know that Drayton-Jones, Ltd. sell the cheapest and most effective floor covering in Christehurch. Being sole agents of one of the world's largest mills is the reason for this low price: 6ft. wide 6/11 yard. (1)
