The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received the following cable from its London office, advising Smith field delivered prices on Friday last as follows:—
N.Z. wethers and maidens, Canterbury quality, selected brands, 561bs and under, 63d; 57/641bs, 6d; 65/721bs, s§-d. Other brands, 561bs and under, s|d; 57/641bs, sfd; 65/721bs, s£d. N.Z. ewes: 641bs and under 4^d. N.Z. lambs, Canterbury quality, 36 lbs and under, 9|d; 37/421bs, 9gd; seconds, BAd. Other brands, first quality, 361bs and under, 9d; 37/421bs, 9d; 2nd quality, 30/32 average, B|d. Australian lambs: Victorian, first quality, 361bs and under, 9d; 37/421bs, 9d.
Argentine lambs, Ist quality, 361bs and under, 7£d; 37/421bs, 7d. N.Z. beef: Ox fores, 3£d; ox hinds, 5Jd.

Lamb.—Market firm, but little doing owing to heavy pitchihgs of Home-kil-led and. Argentine lamb. Mutton market —Wethers: Market is quiet but firm. No change in prices for ewes, but there is a better tone prevailing on market, owing to more enquiry.
