The "Seven", behaved splendidly, the outward journey taking only two hours and ten minutes for the 53 miles (including 35 minutes for lunch) and accounting fcr less than a gallon of petrol.. Glorious weather going up but after twenty miles of the homeward trip, we ran into steady and continuous rain. With our all-weather equipment we were perfectly dry and happy, but I'm afraid the sidecar party had a pretty thorough soaking.
