SPRINGSTON v. WEEDONS.

The Springston team journeyed to Weedons last Saturday, and after a good afternoon's play a draw was the result, although in favour of the home team, which was in a good batting mood. Weedons batted for nearly two hours and aggregated 198 runs for the loss of 6 wickets and then declared, leaving the visitors two hours to bat, in which time they obtained 105 runs for the loss of eight wickets. H. Sail played a good innings for 62 not out. The following are the principal scores:

T. Dray ton, run out, 35; F. Davison c and b Sail, 19; R. Walker, c, b Sail 53; H. Marshall, c, b Sail 45, H. Meyers, not out, 16; D. Henderson, c, b Savin 10. Oddy, Sail, Savin and Reid bowlt ed for Springston. For Springston, H. Sail, not out 62, and Saunders 19, were the main scorers. Drayton, Walker, Davison, Saunders, Marshall and Meyers bowled for Weedons.
