PRESENTATION TO MISS JONES

Miss Jones, late teacher of the Little Rakaia School, was entertained, on the eve of her departure from the district, at a¥ternooi). tea by members of St. James's Church Choir and church friends. The gathering took place at Mrs Lewton's residence and a very pleasant time was spent. The vicar, Rev H. G. Hawkins, in a happy speech, presented Miss Jones with a Doulton plate and bronze bowl, on behalf of those present, and wished,her a happy and prosperous future. Miss Jones made a suitable reply.
