FAREWELL SOCIAL.
A very pleasant function vas held in the Spiingstoii Methodist Schoolroom on Tuesday " evening, when the many friends of Jhe .R-«.-v. and .Mrs J. W. Parker and family assembled for tho
purpose of bidding them farewell, prior -1o their departure for Cambridge. Mr J. W. Kime presided, and said that' the Springston circuit was sorry to lose them. A very enjoyable programme was given by the following:— I. Mutton, Miss Chamberlain, Miss Musgrove, Mrs Martin, M. Kime, MiHarris, Rev. Robertson, Mr N. Chamberlain and L. Blakemorc. Accompaniments were played by Mrs Ducat and Mrs Mitchell, Miss Chamberlain, and Miss Dent. During the evening the guests were presented with a cheque as a token of the esteem in which they were held
