HOUSEHOLDERS' MEETINGS

The following were elected a committee: Messrs T. W. Brooks (chairman), J". Cuiminghain, IT. Kendall, A. Greaves and W. Robertson (secretary). LITTLE RAKAIA. The following were elected a committee for the Little Kakaia school: Messrs \). MeCorinick, A. Scott, F. Greenwood, J. P. MeEvedy and W. M. Gab bic. Mr MeEvedy was re-elected chairman and Mr W. Mt Gabbie secretary and treasurer. SPEINGSTON. At the annual meeting of householders hold in the school last Wednesday, the chairman reported that the grant allowed the committee was not sufficient to pay the accounts for heating and carctaking of the school, as there was .i deficiency of £7 on the year's working. The following were re-elected as a committee: Messrs .J. W. Kime (chairman? ■T. Marshall (secretary), R. Wall. J. Mutton and W. Mounco. Killincliy—Messrs J. Glasscy (chairman), ,1. Legg, W. J. Lemon, A. Hcinisch and 11. McLciuiglicn. i Lakeside—Messrs \V. J. Nairn (chair man), T. IT. Overtoil, H. M. Overtoil, A. E. Amyes and C. Johnson.
