Anglican Bazaar

SOUTHBSIDGE. TO BE HELD ON APRIL G. At a well attended vestry meeting held on Wednesday night, it was decided to hold the Church of England bazaar at Southbridge on Thursday, April 6. Extensive preparations for the event have been in hand for some considerable time past, and a most successful affair seems assured. On Thursday night last a very enjoyable and well attended social evening in connexion with the bazaar was held in the Town Hail. A large number of people took part ma euchre tournament, the first prize winners being Mrs M. Homo and Mr ,T. H. McErlain. Consolation prizes were won by Mrs J. Beamsley and Mr It. L. Cant. After supper dancingwas indulged in to music supplied by Mrs Dclargey, Mr It. Hampton being M.C.' The social was held in aid of Uic jumble stall.

Next Tuesday a social will be held in the Town Hall in aid of the sweets stall.
