RESIGNATION OF LORD ONSLW.
It is stated that His Excellency the Governor has placed his resignation m the hands of the Secretary of State for transmission to Her Majesty the Queen . He has been led to his step by the pres~ sing need for his attendance m England on important private business. His present intention is to leave the colony early next year.
