(From our own Correspondent) GolfIn a bogey match on Saturday I- Beil was the winner, all svuare. Other scores H. Ingram 3 down, Father McMahon & F. Gardiner each 4 down. Next Saturday the first round of the Nevill Memorial will be played We extend congratulations to Mr Jim Watson (Ophir) and Miss Pat Scott (Chatto Creek) who were recently married. Ophir Cards... The weekly cards tin aid of the Ophir School funds) on Friday night was attended by some 40 people. The winners were: gents, Mr M. MoraU, booby Mr C. Stevenson; ladies Miss Eunice Marshall; booby, Miss Isobel Whyte. The prizes were donated by Mrs Mcßae.
