Prices were about 15s to 30s per head better for cattle than last week's sale There was a yarding of 1,100 Fat Sheep, the offering being a fair one, with a few pens ot good sheep. Competition wes fairly ketn throughout & there was a rise on la=t week's prices of from 2s to 6s per head for sheep Fat cattle sold at : best bullocks up to £24 7s 6<J, prime £2O 7s 6d to £23 2s 6d light is medium £8 17s 6d to. £ls 7s 6d, cows aid heifers, brought to £ls Ts 6d, medium U> pnme£B ,7s 6a to £l4 2s 6d iJdiry Cows-a tair clsss £9 to £l2 /o.
Sheep iUxtra prime wethers to 48s 6d, prime wethers 37s to 40s 6d, medium 24s 6d to 25s 6d, light from 20s ~ extra ewes 375, prime 28fl Od to 33s Od, medium and light 18.f . to 19s 6d. Pigs—The yarding of fat pigs, was a fairly lar 6 e one. Prices were good and up Is on last weeks. Best pigs made up v to £8 os, others from £6 ss. Weaners 30s to 38s, slips 20s 6d to 295, stores 30s to 325.
