CRICKET

The County match between Tuapeka and Maniotpto, which was played at Millers Flat, resulted in a win for the home team by 21 runs. Tuapeka batted first and made 168, the principal scores being F. Stuart 50 and Ottrey 39. Maniotuto started badly and six wickets wore down for only 29 runs. Henderson 55 and Sweeny 3G came to light however, and the side made U7.
