The final of the Vincent handicaps was won by S. Leask -6, who beat W. Chmaton scr, by 30 to 28. The tennis championships at Lauder were played on Saturday. Eesults : Gent’s singles— A. Notman (Ida Valley) Ist. Runner-up E. Johnstone Doubles — A. Notmau and C. Me Knight Ist. Ladie’s singles— Miss 0. Morgan Ist. Eunncr-up Mrs W. K. George. In this game when leading 6 —o Mrs George had the bud luck to injure a leg. Ladie’s doubles— Miss Morgan and Mrs J. Leask 1. The following is the Maniototo team to play Vincent at Clyde next Saturday S. Leask, T. Enright, A. Notman, J. Leask, W. Clouston and C. Me Knight* Misses G. Morgan, J. Beattie, M. Nicolson, B. Sutherland, J. Seoular and Mrs J. Leask.
