PERSONAL.
Miss Mary Hull (daughter of Mr Horace Hull of Alexandra), at present teaching at Taradale, near Napier, is to represent Hawkes Bay in the exchange of four teachers with the Homeland. Miss Hull is to sail on the 2nd of August and with the object of seeing his daughter off Mr Hull left for Wellington yesterdayMr W-A. Bodkin, M. P. has advised that he will visit Central Otago this week, when he will look into irrigation matters, etc. at Cromwell. Mr Cyril Gilbert, who has been telegraphist at Clyde P.Ofor the past three years has been transferred to Waiau. He has been a courteous and capable officer and we join in the general wish for his future happiness and prosperity. He will be succeeded by Mr M. F, O'Ponnell, of Waipukurau.,
