An important painting by Rembrandt. i he. "Lucrelia” of 1.66G, painted three years before the death of the master, has been sold to America by tile art dealing firm ot Julius Rochler, in .Munx'li. This was the second depiction of the “Lncretia,” being considered as much more effective in its broad palette-knife technique than the first depiction (of the English Borden Collection). The price is said to exceed 030,000.
