A recent dispatch Irom Copenhagen tells of the discovery of the remains ot an ancient shrine in the village oi Tjacrhorg, near Eshjcrg. dedicated to St. Alban. The frontispiece of the shrine is rightly ornamented with allegorical carvings of the Charlemagne period. The shrine is believed to have Ir en taken to Denmark by the Danish Vikings, to pass into private possession early in the 17th century.
