MARKET REPORT.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows: OATS—There is practically no life in the market and sales arc difficult to effect. We quote:—\. Gartons 2/6, B. Gartons 2s 2d, Undergrade is 6d to 2s id per bushel, sacks extra. POTATOES—The market for choice fines is firm anti Arete is a good demand for prime tables at £5 per ton, sacks in, WHEAT—Millers arc not keen buyers, only the best conditioned lines being accepted. Phis months prices to farmers are—Tuscan SSBAT5 S BAT Hunters 5s 11 Ad, Volvot 6s 5 Ad, all f. o. b. sacks is. CHAFF —There is some little demand fur prime Chalt which is saleable at up to Z-4 15s per ton. Inferior and damaged is harder to quit, and may be bought at from at from ,6- 10S 1° 10s per ton, sacks extra.
