CENTRAL TROTTING CLUB.
ANNUAL MELTING, The annual meeting of the above held at Alexandra on Monday last, was attended by Messrs A. Anderson (chair) C. Me Intosh, J. McGinnis, J. Holloway, S. Slevens, G. Larking H. S (evens W. Sutherland. W. Noble, B. Parsons, J. Sanders. E. Sanders, W. Maynard, E. Tohlll J. Wilson, A Butler D. Hunt and A. Davidson. The Balance-sheet showing a credit balance of £43 was read and adopted. As the year was commenced with a balance of only j6q the result was considered very satisfactory. The secpetary was voted a bonus of jQi 2 12, and other small accounts were' passed for payment which would reduce (ho credit to about £2O. It was unanimously decided to carry on and to hold the usual trots at New Year. The president remarked that he was still very hopeful of getting a totalisator permit. Mr H, Stevens proposed a hearty vate of thanks to the president (Mr A. Anderson) and expressed the opinion that much of the dub’s success was due to that gentleman’s good work— This was carried by acclamation.
