Competition was keen, and prices for gcod winter skins were firm on last salo‘3 rates. Autumns and off season sorts were also in better demand, Selected winter does to selected winter bucks to 87d; Ist winter bucks to 80, U. win te does to 67Jd, winter bucks to 69d, winter bucks and does 49d to 52d, incoming anr early GOd to Autumns 47$ d d early autumns to 36d, racks to winter blacks to Old. Oats— The market is easier but there is a good demand for any lines suitable for milling purposes. A gartons 2s ud to 2s 6d good to nest feed 2s 31 to 2s Id pei bushel {sacks extra). Chaff Owing to the inclement weather consignments have been on the light side during the last week and there is a good demand, for prime Oaten Sheaf to £5 good to best feed £4 10* to £1 15 per ton (sacks extra). Potatoes Ceusignments have been coming to band more freely of late and the market shows an easing tendency. Prime Tables £4 15 to £5 per ton. FatJCattle— A large yarding 180 being penned, consisting of fair quality. Competition was fair and prices advanced all round about £1 a head on last week’s rates. Extra Prime heavy bullocks to £l4 17s, prime £ll to £l2. Medium £‘J to £lO 10; Light from £7 up Prime cows and heifers £7 10s, medium £5 to £O.
