BOWLING
The last match of the season for the Jolly Memorial takes place at Cromwell on Wednesday when a Clyde rink has a go at Gregor McDonald & Co. The first official visit to Central Otago of the Dunedin Centre representatives was made last week. The visitors had a full eight rinks the big majority being well known players, and the matches which were played at Alexandra on Friday had been keenly looked forward to by district bowlers. Well the country reps, were well beaten —perhaps that Maori Haka was responsible for a lot—but the garnes proved very enjoyable. In the evening hj smoke concert was held, and it was generally voted a tip top affair. Scores of the matches—
