Rivers and Pittaway) visited Nascby last week in search of the Jolly Memorial, but they were not successful, a good game ending m N aseby's favor by 2 1 to 16 Eight rinks from Dunedin are visit* ing the centre this week and a match is to be played on Friday. Alexandra being the centre’s official green this season will be the scene of the contest Dunstan. Alexandra, and Cromwell are to be represented by two rinks each, while Roxburgh and Nasebv will each liave otic. The Dunstan Club had a good day on Saturday when the championship singles (for trophies presented by Mr G. Ross and Messrs Sargood, Son and Ewen) were played. The tourney was played on the knock out principle, 11 heads, and, as usual, there were some surprises. The final was played between Phil Miller and W. Sutherland, and the former won after an interesting

game. Cromwell visited Roxburgh on Saturday with three rinks when they were successful by 21 points in winning the last centre match of the season. With an 'unbeaten record Cromwell easily win the shield. Scores — C R
