Eabbitskin Report.—Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd report At our sale ou Monday we again offered a very large catalogue comprising all classes of skins. There was a full attendance of buyers, and competition was again very keen and prices were fully up to, and in the case of winters in excess of last weeks’ rates. All classes of skins were in good demand, and buyers were operating freely and prices obtained must be considered highly satisfactory from a settler’s point of view. Selected winter does were keenly competed for at up to 41d. Selected winter blacks aUo sold well, making 40Jd, and bucks 28fd. Opossum skins There was a larger offering of these than has been the case for some weeks, but all on hand sold under fair competion at almost up to late ruling rates. Our top price for these was 7s 8d for the best. Poorer sorts were not so keenly competed for and sold at a lower range of values than what has been ruling at late quotations— Runners and suckers ... up to B£d. Light racks ... ... to 12Jd.
