Shepherd Lad has left more champion maies than any horse * that ever stood 1 in New. The Mackenzie's dam Glasgow Maggie won more prizes in the Taieri than any other mare ever shown, and when 18 years»old was iirst for mare and two of her progeny. Pearl was full sister to the late Hon. 31 Holme's successful stud horse Crown Prince, both being by Lord Salisbury out of Damsel.
