All inquest at Liverpool upon Elizabeth Peers, aged 11 years ot age, who was murdered by being throttled in an entry off Sniithdown road after midnight on Saturday, October 22nd, disclosed what the coroner described as terrible home conflit ions. It. was stated that the father, who was a labourer, engaged in a drunken quarrel with his wife, and at half-past twelve at night the girl was sent out to purchase some porter, and did not return. The parents made no inquiries that night, i ub the following day they wore informed that their child’s dead body had been found in the entry and removed to the mortuary. The movements of the child were never traced. A dock laborer stated that at half-past one on the Sunday morning he saw a man hurrying from the entry where the body was found. A verdict of wilful murder against ‘some person or persons unknown was returned, and the coroner, at the request of the jury, severely censured the parents for their unnatural conduct.” Unknown Friends, hen troubled with constipation try Chamberlain’s Stomach and Liver Tablets.
