Hannan Reeves, Stock & Sharebroker Dunedin reports as under for week ended 12th mst.
Now that the holidays are over most people have settled down to business again and although transactions on Change are not numerous there is a tendency to buy suharcs such as Electrics which have buyers to-day at 2Ss fid. Alexandra Leads at ss, Bignclls at 8s 6d, Beds at 18s 9d, Hartleys at 265, Manuherikia at 15s, Alpine Consols at 9s 6d, Mastertons at 47s (id, New Roxburgh Jubilee at 235, Factolus at 50s. All these closed firm at the above, quotations. Rise and Shine are easier at sellers 21s, and Runs at 35s 6d. In investment stocks W estports have been sold at £G 10s, Union Steams .are firm, buyers £ls 15s, sellers £ls 15s, New Zealand Portland Cement have had business at 31, and should sec better prices. A fair amount of business is passing in Auckland shares notedly Talismans at up to 80s fid.
