CLYDE RIFLE CLUB.
A general meeting of the above club was held on Satuiday evening last, when there was a iair attendance. Mr Keddell was voted to the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. On the secretary intimating that the requisite number of signatuies had been obtained, it was decided that the movement be gone on with. The various regulations of the act were read and discussed—the meeting expressing itselt in proval of the requirementsHesolved —That hon- member's subscription be reduced to 'Os 6d After a lengthy discussion it was decided thaj those present fcrm themselves into a committee to take the necessary steps to bring the movement to a practical issue. After passing a vote of thanks to the secretary for the trouble he Uad gone to in obtaining information, etc-, the meeting adjourned.
