Obituary.
It is with feelings of deepest regret that we chronicle the death of Miss Hollo'way, of Clyde. The deceased young lady was of a bright and genial nature and having lived nearly all her life in Clyde she was known by everbody. The sad news of her demise yesterday morning cast quite a gloom over the town. To the sorrowing family we offer our heartfelt sympathy. The many friends of Mr Bert Reilly will regret to hear of his death, which occurred at Roxburgh on Monday evening, Although there was no hope of his recovery, yet the news of .his death caused a feeling of sadness in many hearts for he was universally admired and respected by one and all. A journalist who displayed undoubted talent, , Mr. Keilly occupied positions on the staff of' Bruce Herald ' the ' Tuapeka Times ' the ' Bcnger Mail' the ' Alexandra Herald/ and this journal. We offer our sympathy to the bereaved family.
