A hot capsized at Owaka on Saturday when one occupant named Alf Dawson was drowned, and the other Claude Martin is misting. Walter Loring, of Dunedin, has been arrested at Wellington for alleged theft of over £3OO. His employer is C. M. Howison, Merchant, Dunedin. Scobie Msekeizie is ill. There is a general disposition to oppose increase of salaries given to Departmental heads.
