Clyde Water Supply.
MEEiIKG OF RATEPAYERS. Mr Horn, chairman of the Vincent Council, has Celled a meeting o atepayers and Olliers interested in the Cl.dc water scheme for next Monday evening, when the question of providing the necessary money *to inaugm ate a pipe service, and other matters thereto, will be discussed. We sincerely hope that there will be a large attendance of r depaycis, as the question is one of vital importance to the town, linked, it is the duty of every local person 'o be present, and we will be disappointed if they do not roll up en masse. It would perhaps bo opportune to mention that the Council rccenty intimated that if the service is lo be instituted ratepayers will have to pay up their arrears. In oder to give them an opportunity to do so the collector w ill call dining the week.
