There was a record attendance on both days, although there was a considerable falling off on the second day. The course was rather heavy, and in consequence no very fast times were recorded. The Committee are to be congratulated on the success of the meeting, a special word of praise being due the secretary, Mr T. Duggan, who worked like a Trojan. Two things marred the meeting to a certain extent—the dilatory manner in which the events were got off, and the series of protests which tends to disgust investors.
