THE COLOR OF THE COMMONS.
An analysis of the composition of the new House of Commons presents the following interesting result:—ln colors, there are Black, Grey, Green, Brown, White, and Reddy; ornithology is represented by a Schwann, a Finch, and a Martin ; of mammals there are a Bull, a Hogg, a Hare, and a Wolff; poetry is represented by a Burns, a Milton, and a Scott*; literature by a Whittaker and a J. Penn; and th« trade generally by a Cook, a Butcher, a Taylor, and a Tanner. The sea is represented by a , Beach, a Lough, a Pierpoint, and s Shipman ; rural life has its Hill, Mount, Hjv, Reed, Dyke, Field, Groves, Flower, Heath, Parkes, Firbank, and Bigwood; the l£gal profession its Law, Will, Bond, Bill,*fncl Perks ; and ichthyology its Roche, together with a Fisher, a Weir, and a Waltoo; whilst amnng the really safe men is, of course, a Milner.
