A meet successful concert in aid. of the. fjurnds of tjie Vincent Cycling Club was held iii the. town hall, Clyde, on Wednesday Signing, the#b inst. Mr Lee's song, ' The Empress of the Waves/ received full justice at the bands of that gentleman, and in response to a hearty encqre, Mr Lee sang * Sweet Chiming fyVs.' Mr Macgeorge, who, is also a favourite on the concert platform, tendered bis song in his usual artistic manner. M iss. Tidey contributed a. sparkKng pianoforte selection for which she re-.
