The barque Hirotha, with a load of _oal from Newcastle, was sighted this forenoon shaping in here from the north. On discharge of cargo she loads timber for Sydney. The Union, Co.'s Omapere left Auckland at 6 p.m. yesterday with 65 tons cargo for the coast and 70 tuns for Napier including 71,500 sup. feet of timber). She is due here about the end of the week. The U.iiori Co.'s new steamer Kotuku, Captain Kennedy, was brought inside at 6 p.m. yesterday, and commenced last night discharging coal. She leaves to-mut't-W tor Ureymouth, instead of Westport as* originally intended. The U\non Co.'s s.s. Te Anau left Wellington\ H _ts.4s*p.m. yesterday, and wasexpeeted h_-- 9 at 11 this morning.
