AUCKLAND TIMBER TRADE.

Conciliation Board's Award.

[per press association.!

Auckland, This day.

The finding of the Conciliation Board iv the timber trade dispute has been filed, but the mill-owners' representatives are unable so far to agree to accept the award, which meant an increase of £29 10s per week to the Kauri Timber Company's pay sheet. Other mills would have to increase from 10 to 20 per cent, and country mills had to face a reduction of hours. The finding becomes binding unless either side appeals within one month.
