The p.s. Kahu arrived from Mangakuri on Monday night with a full load of wool for the s.s. Tomoana. The s.s. Weka reached port last. Monday with a load of wcoJ for transhipment to the Tomoana. The s.s. Toroa arrived here from Wel- >* iingson tit coast on Christmas morning wiih a full load of wool and general cargo. She tranships the former into the Tomoana to-day, and after loading 700 sheep leaves for Lyttelton direct. \ The s.s. Tangaroa left for Wairoa yesterday at 4 a.m., but owing to the bad bar had to return without communicating. Her future sailiugs depend entirely on the state of the sea and bar at Wairoa. The barquentine Pendle Hill arrived in the roadstead yesterday morning from Newcastle with a full load of coal. The vjpilob expects to bring her in at high water slack to-day. The Union Coy.'s Omapere arrived from Weatporb direct yesterday morning i at 11 o'clock. Owing to the holiday she was only able .to discharge a small portion of her cargo, and as a result her det>arture will be delayed for north until a late hour to-night. The Union Coy.'s Te Anau arrived from southern ports on Christmas Day, and left for north at 8 p.m. the same evening. The Hawke's Bay sailed for Wellington at 9 a.m. yesterday, and is expected back here in about ten days' time to load wor»I a: meat. ) The H.P. (Jo.'s Zealandia arrived from Sydney i\a northern ports at 7.30 this morning. After discharge of 60 tons cargo she leaver for Wellington at 2 p.m. The Union C 0 . ,3 Talune is due here on Saturday from southern ports, and is advertised to leave for Sydney via, way ports at 8 p.m.
