Melbourne, June 28

The agents of the steamer Kensington have received the following cable frem Capetown :—" The Kensington is afire in No. 2 hold. It is impossible to save the remaining cargo. The vessel has been towed to shallow water for flooding." The steamer is under charter to James Bell and Co., and took from Melbourne a cargo of floor, s_oo bags of oats, and 13,882 bales of hay for South African ports.
