Great inconvenience has been occasioned the last few weeks owing to the breakdown of the overland telegraph wires, and the South Australian (government, realising their responsibility, have resolved to take vigorous action to improve the service. Mr Cockburn, Ministerial head of the Post and Tele? graph Department, intimated that the Government had decided to run a duplicate wire along the central route, ao if one wire breaks down another will be available.
