FROZEN MEAT TRADE.

Lloyd's Register Committee suggest that the principal survey for refrigerating accommodation in vessels carrying frozen meat be made in London, and that the colonial surveyors only examine the insulation and test the refrigerating machinery, and Sydney, they add, is the only port where the committee could appoint its own surveyor.
