News waa received to-day that the sale of tho Central of Weitekauri ia London had been practically completed. Shares advanced in price in consequence A cable waa received this morning from Locdon Stating that the pureha?a money Jot tha Central and Pilot (whioh adjoins the former ■. will bs paid over upon receipt of information to the effect that the transfer of the property and deeds for tho same had been deposited in the bank of the purchasing company. A meeting of tho directora of the company, held this afternoon, determined to transfer tho property and deposit the deedn forthwith. The area of the Central and Pilot ia 200 aorea, situated next the Waitekauri and Grafton United properties. Under the terms of sale the Central shareholders will receive about la cash and 100 share 3 paid up to £t for every 200 at preaent held.
