The Attorney-General has returned from Ilia tour in the east. He says he does cot fear any great influx of Japanese into Aus > tralia, aa the Government ia strongly averse 4o their leaving the country. The threatened inundation of Australia with Japanese goods is a mere bogie, and there is little ohance of increasing the Australian trade with Japan, for a long time.
