The feature of the market on 'Change tojiay was a run on Waihi-Silvettons. Last evening there were buyers of thia Btook at S4» with Bellers at 665. During this morning took place as high as 68a 6d and 76-a with buyers at 69a. Try Flukes sold at advanced priceß, and sales were effected aa high as 6a Bd, with buyers at Gs 6d, and no sellers under 7s. Inviota waa the only other liuotun v stook dealt in, thero being sales at 4Ad ani*l 6d. In Thames Cardigan found buyers at la 6d, New Ali.*uruia at 4a 9d, and Sfew Moanatairi at 7a .and 7a 3d. Viotoria dropped to 3a 9d (sellers). Bunker a Sill were transferred at 5b 9d, there t>emg further buvere at the same figure. Ciueou of Waihi 'maintain their firmness, sales taking place at 2s lid and 3s. Talismans were slightly easier, there being sellers at 3a 6d, with no buyers. Waihi Console aold at la sd, Waihi Extended at 6d, Young New Zealand at Is 3d, and Grace Darirag at la 3d. A good feeling exists in Woodstock, aaics taking plaoe at 17s e_d 17fl 6d. Waverley.—The result of an aaaajr from a ganeral sample of the reef which &&a manager broke down ia aa followa :—Gold, idwtZ6_r; silver, iSoz lldwt 23gr; value per ton, £4 4s lid. The manager writea that he haa stripped about 30ft of the reef, and tbe gold continues. The reef keepa just about the same appearance right through. He considers the assay a fair \yalne. Midaa.—The mine manager wired this anoCTing:—"Cut a reef one foot wide, worth 10or te the ton, in N.W. trench." An offer haa been made from London for _c jßdwarda freehold near Karangahake. The present .owners are to be paid in caeh and shares, the amount of which they don't oare to disclose, but ihe termß are satisfactory ■to them, It ia proposed to form a company with a capital of £175,00©, and a working -oapital of £30,000.
