Sin,—Can you tell me does the Port Steam Laundry co_a under the Factories Act? if so. aro they allowed to keep their girls at work till 6 pm., making them work nine hours a day. If they are breaking the law, what is our luspeotor aoing to allow it to go on week after week without putting a stop to it ? Perhaps they are special friends of his, or is there another Aot on purpose for them ? 'AUoro are several poople who would Jiko to know besides mjsalf, if you could do so.—l am, &c., ENGtJJ-88.
