Mklbouenk, Thie day. In an aotion against the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company the defendants olaimed that the company wai domiciled in England, had been re-oon-otruoted under the iijnglieh Join* btook Companies Aot, and that plaintiff had consented to tho arrangement. The plaintill' denied that heoonsented to the arrangement, and held that tho Wnglieh Aot could not be made to apply outside of Great Britain, and tho plea of the Bnglieh arrangement cyuld not prevail against an action brought iv tho colony. Judgment wae given for plaintiff.
