ECONOMY AT MONTE CARLO.
The London Daily News of May 12th says that the annual meeting of tho shareholders at Monte Carlo lasted for three days from ten in the morning until midnight, dinner being eaten during eaoh meeting. There was a pitched bauie between the Prince of Monaco's partisans and the descendants of the Beave. The Prince's parly won. They will ratreuoh in the oxpen.es of the plaoe. The two largest causes for the falling off in dividends are the financial stringencies in the United States and Italy, whioh nations spend more at tha resort than any others.
