The Britith delegates to the Miners' Conference protested against the adoption of a tcheme for reducing tbe output of coal as a grave fisoal blunder. They oontended it would be impossible to secure united action throughout the world upon it. The Frenoh delegates urged that the supply exceeded the demand by 40,000,000 tons.
