Mofs?s Lowes aad lorns report:—At oui* Eketahuna sale on Wednesday the yards were wed filled with both sheep and cattle. Bidding under the hammer for cattle was not brick, more interest however was shown in the sheep, nevertheless, several lines had to be passed in, but in most ca?es were afterwards sol-i privately. The following figures were obtained: —2-tooth ewes 5s to 5s 6d, full-mouth ewes from Is 7d to 3s 3d, woolly lambs ss, shorn lambs 2s 9d to 3s 6d, culls Is 6d. Springing heifers sold at from £2 17s 6d to £5 2s od, cows from £4 to £5 7s 6d. weaners 26s to 28s. Pigs failed to elicit satisfactory pnoes. Horses were also dull of sale.

Mr Matthew Henry, of Palmerntou North, reports :—The supplies were email in both sheep and cattle. The latter were chiefly composed of weaners, whiah met a rather limited demand. Youug fheep met rather bait i' but older sorts do not commend the.mfelves to the trade. Most of the cattle were clearedatquetitioiis Cattle—Weaners 355, 27s 6d, and 355, yearlings £2 10s to £2 l'2s Gd, heifers in calf £4, forward cows to £3 3s. Shorn lambs 4s.

The i gmont Farmero' Union (limited) report : —We held our fortnightly sale at Manaia on Wednesday, the 14th inst. 7 here was rather a small entry of cattle, with an attendance iv keeping, but the result was that most of tho pens changed hands at B*t Bfactory prices.
