An attempt to get fire to the timber yard at tho Queen's dock, Hull, by means of petroleum, was defeated, and also an attempt to set fire to the chip Joole, which was being worked by free laborers. An endeavor was made without avail to dynamite a railway bridge at the moment a train was passing Uden with free laborers. The Shipping Federation is sending five hundred free laborers to Liverpool and Hull. Swaziland Conference. Sir H. Loch considers the conference re Swaziland a bhccrhh.
