The BENEFITS Derived by a New Zealander who was assured with THE COLONIAL MUTUAL LIFE ASSURANCE SOCIETY, LIMITED, under its well-known Mortuary Dividend Table. MR H. B. LOW, of Canterbury, was the holder of Policy No. 67,700, taken out by him on the sth April, 1889, £1000. He paid only Thebe Annual Pbemiuhs of £21 19s 2d each, or £65 17s 6d in all, and was unfortunate enough to die of acute peritonitis, caused by his drinking exoesively cold water when in a heated state. The Society then paid his heirs the sum of £1065 17s 6d, being tho £1000 assured, together with all the money he had paid in Premiums. This information iB published by permission of the Executor, who expressed his thanks for tho prompt settlement of the claim by the Society.
